About St. Elmo's Fire

Since the mid-eighties, St. Elmo's Fire has been working within the South Coast community helping families to power their homes with solar and wind : renewable energy.

A lot has changed since the early days of small low-voltage solar systems! Newer and more efficient technologies, positive government policy and substantial rebates have helped renewable energy to be a viable and affordable option for many people. St. Elmo's Fire has stayed with the changes! We are always investigating the newest technologies, keeping abreast with government and industry changes and are active members of several solar industry bodies.

St. Elmo's FIre is involved with the South Coast Community. From installing Tathra's first grid-connected solar system to our involvement in the inaugural Clean Energy For Eternity planning committee and advising The BEND (Bega Eco-Neighborhood Development) committee for their renewable energy needs, we've always been interested in assisting our community.

The newest developments for St. Elmo's Fire is our scaling-up of the business to meet the growing needs of our energy-conscious shire and greater South Coast region. We've recently opened a new office and have added several members to our team. Zak Pierce, our new systems designer comes to St. Elmo's Fire from solar-savvy California with over 10 years experience in renewable energy.
